The A.R.T.S. Academy Nondiscriminatory
Policy
The A.R.T.S. Academy makes available to students
of any race, color, nationality, economic disadvantaged status
or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, scholarships,
activities of its programming.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
nationality, age, gender, marital status, religion, disability,
economic disadvantaged status or ethnic origin, in administration
of its educational and admission policies.
Furthermore, The A.R.T.S. Academy protects human
dignity and also protects the interests and safety of all students
under its programming.
REGISTRATION
If you are unfamiliar with our facilities, we encourage newbies
to come and take a tour before registration.
• Registration fees for returning students must be Paid by
the fourth week of the current session.
• Students may pay the registration fee within 24 hours of
selecting classes if still available.
• Incomplete
registration forms will not be accepted
REFUNDS
• To withdraw from a class and receive full refund, the
request must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the class starting.
• During the first week of class, a refund may also be given
minus a $15 processing fee.
• After the first week of class, no refunds will be given,
no exceptions.
CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY
• The A.R.T.S. Academy's policy is to always treat people
with respect, consideration and courtesy.
• We aim to foster a productive environment free of harassment,
intimidation and discrimination.
• People acting on The A.R.T.S. Academy's behalf should
seek to take good care of the academy’s property, and not
expose it to loss, damage, misuse or theft.
• The A.R.T.S. Academy Property should be used solely for
the academy's legitimate purposes.
• Students should use common sense and moderation when using
the academy's resources. The A.R.T.S. Academy will not tolerate
dishonesty, plagiarism, harassment of any kind, offensive language,
abuse, intimidation, bullying, conduct that is disorderly , lewd,
lascivious, indecent or otherwise inappropriate, or that constitutes
a breach of the peace.
SAFETY POLICY
• To ensure health and safety in the Academy everyone must
play their part by discharging their responsibilities and co-operating
fully with others who have health and safety duties placed on
them.
• The Safety and Security of students is top priority at
The A.R.T.S. Academy.
Please adhere to the following rules:
• Whenever you are on/in the Academy grounds, remain alert
to activity in and around the academy and report any suspicious
activity to academy administration so they can investigate.
• Be sure your emergency contact information is current
and accurate. Contact our office for information updates.
• Keep the Academy informed on your emergency form of any
medical conditions or physical limitations you or your child may
have.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
The A.R.T.S. Academy has a very strong and clear stand against
the use of illegal drugs and alcohol and a commitment to the health,
safety and welfare of its students and the public at large.
The possession, use, or sale of alcohol, marijuana, or any illegal
narcotic substance, or any paraphernalia is not permitted on school
grounds at any time, nor at off-campus events sponsored by the
school. Any student found to be in possession or under the influence
of said substances will be expelled from school. Re-admission
to the school after a violation of the alcohol and illegal drug
policy is at the sole discretion of The A.R.T.S. Academy.
